In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to make paper lanterns from Chinese New Year red envelopes (or: Hong Pao, Lai See, Ang Pau, 紅包; there are so many ways to say it). 🙂 Use regular paper cut to size to create paper lanterns appropriate all year round, especially since summer is rolling along. Tape the  lanterns with electrical tape to lights for a fun DIY room decoration. Don’t leave them plugged in when you’re not home, though – don’t want the paper lanterns catching on fire with the lights hehe. 😉
