Hey Everyone!
I just realized that I haven’t shared a “behind-the-scenes” post in almost 2 months! So I thought I would give you a sneak peek of one of my latest designs: Post-it(R) Note Origami Darth Vader Bookmark! I spent several days designing it, and originally, it was meant to be folded from regular origami paper, but since I didn’t have black paper to work with, I decided to use a black Post-it(R) Super Sticky Note, instead. (I have so many black Post-it(R) notes it isn’t even funny, lol). From there, it was only a matter of modifying it so that I could make use of the adhesive part. 😉
Here’s how version 1 looked like…

… And here’s how version 2 looks like:

For version 2 (and final version), I made the origami Darth Vader more Post-it(R) note friendly, added a cape, drew some more detailing on his face/body, and changed the shape of his head slightly so that it is more narrow. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. What do you think? 🙂 I’ll be releasing a tutorial for this Origami Darth Vader soon; I’m thinking in mid-November. Stay tuned! 😉
