In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to fold a five-pointed 3D Origami Star, a fun paper craft to try with kids. You can alter this origami star by adding more units, up to 10. So, for example, if you wanted to make a 6-pointed star, instead of a 5-pointed star, you would use 6 sheets of paper. Make sure the papers are square-shaped, and you are good to go! (In this demo, I used 3″ x 3″ sheets).
HINT: This is a very popular origami star that I’ve seen being used as a Christmas tree topper! String a few stars together with a needle and thread for a fun holiday garland and home decoration piece!
